Realistic / Contemporary Fiction
A few authors in this genre that come to mind are *Jodi Picoult* (although it has been said that she “straddles genres” — all good!), *Elizabeth Berg* (I love her humorous style!), and *Lisa Genova* (profound reality!)

Historical Fiction
There are many great Historical Fiction authors, with sub-genres that really interest me such as: *Roberta Kagan* (Holocaust), *Shayne Parkinson* (New Zealand 1880’s-1920’s), *Lisa See* (China 17th, 19th and early 20th centuries), *Lalita Tademy* (American Indian and African American pre- through post-civil war), *Sally Gunning* (Pre-Revolutionary New England) and *Sarah Sundin* (WWII Nurses). Aside from these, I love novels about the trials of early American settlers and fiction that weaves in any country’s history, no matter the century.

Coming of Age and Light Mystery are a couple of other genres that I like to read. If you don’t find your genre, please just ask me, and I’ll let you know if I’d consider editing it.

Please note that I have not edited the wonderful books of the above mentioned authors, they are just a few of the many authors whose work I enjoy reading.

UPDATE: I am very excited and honored to say that I have completed the copy and line editing of “To Be An Israeli” by Roberta Kagan! Please read her review of my work.
